ORDERING FAQ

How do I Order?

All ordering/designing of your unit can be done online via the snazzy custom order form. If you are confused or would like an invoice sent to you directly for a particular style you have in mind, send an email to Luckebykeisha@outlook.com. In person consultations are available to clients in the Seattle area as a free service. Once you design your unit, 50% deposit is due upfront and the remainder is due once the unit is complete. You are able to submit photos along with your order form. Once the order is submitted, we will be in touch with you along the process to ask questions and keep youout up-to-date with your order status.

 

Whats the processing time for units?

Standard turn around time is an estimated 3-4 weeks. Rush options are available for an additional fee and can be selected during checkout. We will be in touch frequently throughout the process with updates once your order is submitted.

 

Do you have units ready to ship?

While the majority of Lucke units are custom made, there are ready-to-ship units available sometimes. They are posted when available (typically on Instagram and via e-mail subscribers). Ready-to-ship units cannot be customized for sizing and styling they are "as-is".

 

How do I Track my Order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking info directly via email to keep tabs on your items... We know how eager you will be to receive them! Your Shipment will be shipped to the Shipping Address on file. We are not responsible for lost packages due to errors in Shipping Address inputs. Shipments are made via USPS and tracking information will be sent to you via email when available.

 

What are your delivery options?

At the moment, our primary carrier for shipping is USPS for domestic and International items. UPS is an option for International delivery at an additional fee.

 

 

 

 

 

Can i send in hair for units to be made?

YES! You can provide hair for your unit or purchase hair through me. I am in partnership with @EyeForDesignHair to provide the best extensitons ever! Once you send hair, you will be invoiced via PayPal for the wig making service. Start your order

 

What kind of product should i use on my wig?

When you order your Lucke unit, you will receive care info with detailed notes about products and how to care for your creation. It is best to use products of high quality, free of drying alcohold and sulfates such as "Shea Moisture" brand. Anything you use on your real hair would also be great for your unit as it is Virgin hair as well. There are also more care videos on the "How-to" page.

 

How long will my unit last?

Your wig can last for many years depending on the upkeep and usage of the wig. Please feel free to contact us if you should have any questions.

 

If I have no hair, can I wear these units?
Yes! The units are snug fit and will conform to your head. You do not have to have hair for the full units or frontal units- the U-part units require hair to be left out. I suggest that my clients with hair loss purchase the Wig Grip for added grip and security.
 
How do I prep my hair for wearing the wig?

For wigs, it is best to have a flat base for the wig to lay correctly.  Braid your natural hair in very fine flat cornrows straight back. Some people wear the 'beehive' braid style and they find that straight backs work much better. If your hair is straight, you can wrap and then use a wig cap to keep your natural hair in place. I exercise andswim often, will my custom unit stay put?

Yes, you can workout in your wigs! Clients have purchased units just so they can give their natural hair a break while on a vigorous workout schedule. If you swim in it, make sure to take care of your hair underneath.

 

Can I sleep in the unit?

You can for sure sleep in your unit if you'd like. Sleep with a satin scarf or bonet to prolong the longevity of your unit

 

Can I dye my custom unit?

YES of course, its 100% unprocessed VIRGIN HAIR, you can bleach, color, re-color and color again, just make sure you DEEP CONDITION after any chemical alterations.

 

 

Do you make wigs for men and children as well?

Yes! The sizing is very important so please note that the unit is for a man or child when ordering.

POLCIES & PROCEDURES

Look & Style

With any custom creation, we will work as hard as possible to get the style, color, texture, and look of your dreams. However, we can not promise that things will be exactly the same as a photo you send to us. We can guarantee it will be lovely, cute, and up to high standards, but there may be some differentiations. As the nature of hair is all up to personal preference, you WILL need to style the unit on your own upon receiving it and make the unit your own! This is very crucial to falling in love with your style. Any unit out of the box will need a little love after the long flight to get your doorstep. If you have questions regarding styling, care, making your unit look most natural, reach out to us, seriously! There are tons of tips and tricks to share. Also, check out the "How-to" page with videos and guides.

No Returns/ Exchanges

Once wigs are worn in any way, they are non refundable. Wigs are custom in nature and can not be reused by others. We do not allow returns. If you have an issue, please reach out to us with your concerns. 

 

Wig Repair Policy

My customers receive a one time free wig repair service within 2 months after the sale. I strictly adhere to the 2 month policy. After the 2 months all repairs are subject to charge which is determined on a one-on-one basis. However, it should be said that wigs RARELY need to be repaired because they are made so well and of such high quality.

 

Contact me at LuckebyKeisha@outlook.com FIRST if you have any questions. Please confirm with me before returning wigs because I need to make sure it can be repaired and a wig repair fee may be assessed if past the 2 month period. The fee may vary depending on the nature of the work.

 

The repair time is 14-25 business days.


You are also responsible for the all shipping charges.

 

Wig Return Policy
Due to the nature of the item, sales are FINAL on purchases once received. Please take your measurements and select options very carefully. I will make your custom wig according to your exact specifications. Please note, I am not responsible for improper measurements resulting in a wig that does not fit. I am also not responsible for variances in color caused by monitor settings or photographs. If you are looking for a very specific color, I strongly recommend sending the exact color choice and brand. This small investment can save you hundreds of dollars worth of headaches.

 

Deposits Non-Refundable

Once your deposit is paid, work begins on your purchase. Due to the custom nature of Lucke by Keisha, deposits are non-refundable and credit can not be applied to future purchases.

 

15 Day Hold Policy

Once orders are complete, you have 15 days to pay the final payment or your order or will be sold and funds are non-refundable. Unless arrangements are made with Lucke by Keisha, this policy is strictly upheld.
